ASBESTOS ABATEMENT
Asbestos is a naturally occurring silicate mineral that was heavily used in the manufacturing industry in the late 19th century. It's high tensile strength, fire and heat resistance, and sound absorbtion were a few of the physical properties that made it a perfect building material. Over the years it has been proven that asbestos can cause several dibilitating diseases such as: asbestosis, mesothelioma, lung cancer, and others. Properly abating asbestos in the living and working areas is a major priority and needs to be done carefully; following all regulations. GEC has a proven history of adequatly identifying and abating asbestos containing materials (ACM) quickly and effectively.
